SCVMM 2012 SP1ではWindows XPの仮想マシンテンプレート作成にはsysprepを自前で用意する必要がある
Windows XPの仮想マシンテンプレートを作成しようとしたら、エラーが出て怒られてしまいました。 Error (678) Sysprep binary sysprep.exe does not exist for Windows version 5.1.2600 in Folder C:Program FilesMicrosoft System Center 2012Virtual Machine ManagerSysprepi3865.1.2600.3. Recommended Action Add the missing Sysprep binaries for the specified Windows version in the specified folder, and then try the operation again. Windows XP用のsysprepは自分で用意する必要があるそうです。Windows XP SP3のsysprep自体は以下から入手出来ます。 Download Windows XP Service Pack 3 Deployment Tools from Official Microsoft Download Center エラーメッセージに出たフォルダを手動で作成しダウンロードしたcabファイルを展開して配置しました。 これで正常にテンプレート化作業ができるようになりました。
